We're all longing for a vacation, a bit of peace and quiet so we're completely recharged and ready to take on the world. Are you still planning on booking that same old dreary vacation?
"STOP! Are You And The Family Desperate
For Sun, Sea, Serenity, Peace, Calm
And Blue Skies On This Vacation? Our
Accommodation In Rarotonga It Has It All."
Are you one of the millions of people whose life
consists of getting up early in the morning, spending a gruelling time getting
to work, an even more arduous time at work, a mind numbing journey back home,
only a brief few minutes of ‘quality’ time with the family, and then the rest
of the time in preparation to do it all again? You’re not alone – but there’s a
place where you virtually could be.
Most people will spend their life dreaming of an ideal holiday, a nice little piece of paradise, somewhere where they can relax and get reacquainted with their families, but, for 99% of those people the closest they’ll get to that perfect downtime is staring at a backdrop on their computer screens – you don’t have to be one of the 99%, bask in the sunshine and freedom that the other 1% are enjoying. It’s time to live a little!
You want the freedom and relaxation of a tropical haven, but need your luxuries so you won’t feel as though you’re stranded on a desert island? Well forget desert islands and start thinking Cook Islands – or more specifically the Tiare Maori Unit situated by the beach in Tupapa on the North East side of Rarotonga, is the place for you.
Not All Paradises Are Created Equal
No more beach front apartments on the 10th floor of a ‘luxury’ complex (usually with a 4 lane highway to cross) for you. At the Tiare Maori Holiday Unit in beautiful Rarotonga you open the front door and are just seconds from the beach.
Imagine being slowly woken by the gentle crashing waves, rather than being rudely woken by the screaming alarm clock. A nice thought, isn’t it? Then, once you finally get out of bed, you find the most pressing decision to make is whether you spend the morning lazing on the beach... or spend it lazing on the deck. Sometimes life is just that difficult.
Start Relaxing Into Rarotonga Time
When lunchtime rolls around you can either make it yourself in the Tiare Maori Holiday Unit’s full equipped kitchen, visit the convenient convenience store (which does a great line in beers and donuts for when you get back to your relaxation routine) or just a two minute walk and you’re at Club Raro with its bar and restaurant. After lunch you’re faced with your next big choice: do you switch from the deck to the beach, or vice versa?
For the more adventurous of you, or if you just enjoy a healthy, appetite building walk, then you’ll want to visit the local township of Avarua, which is a twenty minute stroll away. For the slightly less adventurous there’s a bus service that you’ll be able to catch. On the way back you could stop at the local fishing club (a one minutes walk from the unit) and try out the Bar and takeaway food restaurant.
Working On Your Green Credentials
At the end of the day, or whenever you decide that you just can’t take any more of the relaxing and swimming, you can use the handy outside shower, of course there’s still a shower inside too, but why have the hassle of going inside when you can stay out and keep enjoying the view?
Just to make sure that paradise stays as unspoilt as possible the Tiare Maori Holiday Unit uses solar heated and UV treated water. The benefit for you is that the water, apart from in the outside shower, is perfectly drinkable so there’s no need to worry about paying for expensive bottled water.
Please note that, in an effort to make sure that our bit of paradise stays a bit of paradise, there is to be no smoking inside the unit.
The unit itself will comfortably sleep four adults, and the ones lucky enough to get in first will have stunning sea views from their queen sized bed. The people staying in the second bedroom won’t be missing out, however. The second bedroom has a single as well as a king single bed which, if need be, can be pushed together to give a more than comfortable super king sized bed. Each room also has an ample amount of storage for all of your essentials.

What Would You Honestly Expect Paradise To Cost?
While everyone would consider paradise be priceless we have decided that, this small corner of paradise will be well within everyone’s reach at only:

That means, for the meantime, there are no extra fees to be paid if you want to book on your own, no ‘per two people sharing’ prices, just one flat rate per night (minimum stay of two nights) for a maximum of four adults – so you could be staying for as little as $NZ 40 per person per night!
We can also negotiate the price if you’re looking for something on a longer basis.
